Default Best Battery for Trolling Motor

Hey guys, I知 running a Minn Kota 112 lb 36 volt Ulterra on my Nitro Z-21. I crappie fish a lot pulling cranks. I currently am running three Interstate Group 29s. I知 tired of the Interstate batteries going bad on me 2-3 months after the 12 month warranty runs out. I知 running an X2 group 31 dual purpose for my cranking battery. Ok so my question is which battery is the best option to allow me to troll constantly for an all day fishing trip. Thanks for your input. I知 ready to bite the bullet and get three quality batteries that will last a long time. Thanks again.

These can be bought cheaper than this list price. They have great reserve capacity.

A lot of people have great luck with the walmart batteries and their warranties. I have been using Duracell branded batteries bought a one of the batter specialty stores adn they are going on 4 years now in one bough, and 5 in the other boat. I have never killed them in a day either, always had juice left. they are the big size though.

    Hard to beat that!

I have had good luck with group 31 Duracell AGM battery. I bought these at Sam's. They do have a sale on them early spring sometimes.

I had 2 sets of 3 Walmart batteries that lasted me 7 years as long as you take care of them. Lasted all day no problem. I bought some interstate batteries and had 1 go bad on a weekend, shop was closed so had to buy 1 to fish. Best thing about Walmart is always open and close by. May be better batteries out there but I will run Walmart from now on.

Trojan 1275 golf cart batteries. I've owned a tractor trailer full of deep cycle batteries over the years and have always thought Interstate batteries were junk. I need batteries I can depend on and I'm hard on mine with daily trips. Trojan 1275s have never failed me.

#metoo Installed free too. I have 2 type 27s an one cranker battery. 6 years old Everstarts. Made by Exide. I can still pull cranks 1/2 a day. Thats all I need.

x3 on the Everstarts. Running two 29DCs and a 24MS.

I've pulled cranks for 4-5 hours straight and still had some left with a 24v Terrova.

My last 2 Duracell battery's lasted 6 years, guess what I replaced them with. One of the secrets to long life is refilling them with acid. I troll a lot and go fishing 3/4 times a week.

Do any of you guys know much about the X2 POWER batteries? Particularly the SLI31AGMDPM model? Thanks.
