Default Ultrex spot lock jog issue

Hey guys, I have an ultrex I pilot link. Its connected to a humminbird helix 7. I use spot lock a lot. I havent had any issues until now. When I try to jog the spot lock it shuts off the spot lock. I have the puck paired and calibrated. It has always worked before. I cant seem to find anything on line that helps me. Have any of you had this issue? Thanks for your help!

I have the standard i-Pilot, not the link, so mine works independently from my Helix 9. I wonder, can you test jog with the 'bird powered down, and see if that makes a difference? That's all I got, sorry!

Are you 100% sure nothing got under the foot pedal?
That will cause the same thing.
Stick, jar of Crappie nibbles, power wire. Just a thought

Yeah I'm sure, I looked. Also spot locks works until you hit the Jog button.

I know you said the compass puck is OK. When running, it should flash every 3 seconds if all is OK, but I think the jog options on the remote go away when it isn't on, so this probably isn't it.

I fished today and it worked fine. This time I never turned the Helix on. I was fishing a tournament so I didn't push my luck. I use my garmin livescope so I didn't need the helix today anyway. Next time out I'll try with and without.

I have an Ultrex as well, non link. The spot lock works great most times, to be honest I've never tried the jog feature. I have had to re calibrate mine a few times and update boat scale and what not. If I'm not mistaken with the link function you could just place a way point and choose to "go to" so that may be the easiest option. I'm guessing it's something simple and being over looked and would be curious as to a follow up on your findings. These motors are also critical of speed settings, water conditions and so forth on how they respond.
