Default Nite mode Lowrance hds gen 2

Ok, I'm in florida crappie fishing and yesterday I must of turned on the nite mode on the screen and for the life of me cant remember how to turn it off. I've read the manual what seems like 3 times but not a word of how you switch screens from day to nite modes. I've got a 9" unit at the helm and 7" on the bowl the 7" is the problem and what I use most. HELP, I feel like a idiot.

If I remember correctly once the unit is powered on push the power button again and on the next screen you should be able to either lower/raise the brightness, put in standby, or night/day mode.

I will try that in the morning, because I can only barely see the word lowrance when it boosts up, a you tube video recommended draping a towel over the unit to be able to see the screen, i will try that too. Thanks

Power the unit on and after it’s had time to boot up tap the power button repeatedly and it should cycle through the brightness levels.
Once you have the screen bright enough to see it you can turn night mode off and adjust the brightness in the menu that comes up when you press the power button.

Hey I wanted to thank you guys, it worked this morning. For some reason my screens are taking longer than normal to load, and I guess I hit the power button more than once being impatient.
