    Default Livescope wiring question

I was hoping I could get everyone’s opinion on a wiring question I have. I just purchased a livescope and a 93sv. Since they both need to have their own power source and my boat is limited on space I have decided to run a single power and ground cable from the back of my boat battery’s to a fuse box up in the front of the boat that has more room for wires. I am aware that I need to run 10 gauge wire for the power supply to the black box. My question is what size wire should I use for the power/ground coming from the battery to the fuse box? I plan on running a lowrance hds 7 gen 2, the 93sv and the livescope off that fuse box. Would 8 gauge be good enough or do I need to drop down more to 6 gauge? I would say from the battery to the fuse box will be about 12 feet..... any opinion would be great. Thanks

8 or 10 from battery or your switch to fuse panel. Then I’d use 10-12 from panel to your different units. Good 10 gauge is going to be more than sufficient to power what you are going to be using. Just fuse main lead at initial connection at battery or switch. Then proper fuses in panel for each connection. On main power you are protecting wiring from connection to panel so I’d go 15 or 20 on that one.

That's pretty much exactly what I'm doing, I have a 21 ft run though from the battery to fuse box.. I'm worried 10 would be too light... I"m short about 3 ft on my 8 gauge I have leftover, but I have just enough 6 gauge to run it which seems like overkill though.

My OCD doesn’t comprehend overkill ...

I would run 2 gauge to my electronics if I had some lying around ...
