    Default Remote control LS transducer

A buddy (Tim of YouTube’s Skunked Again) walked me through a retrofit of a cast aside wireless remote trolling motor. Stripped off all unnecessary parts, removed head and prop motor, and installed the transducer. Only part I paid for was a remote from Motorguide. I decided to do this because Tim showed me on his boat how he could idle along with the big motor and sweep the transducer by the remote left and right searching for fish and structure. It can swivel fast or slow and can be operated from anywhere in the boat. Once I get my lower unit replaced (waiting for the boat shop to come back from vacation) I will hit the lake again and report on how well it worked. By the way, did I mention Tim is a very smart fellow who works in IT? His videos are great too with his use of LS in salt and fresh water.
