I’m using a helix 10 DI + GPS G3N and just have to get this glitch figured out. It gives awesome images if quit playing with the settings! Even trolling fast speeds. Quite a improvement over the Gen 1 360.
Got on Patoka Lake today temp got up to 66 water temp was 43.5 or so. Mega 360 worked like a charm for a hour and half the quit again. Got a glitch of some kind with the wet switches not recognizing when it’s in or out of the water. It gives great pics tho even a couple of times when I tried out side imaging. I was playing with settings a lot as well as seeing as what type of image it would give at slow/fast speed, then it locked up with saying Mega 360 Disabled, Out of Water. Made no difference whether it was in the water or out. It wouldn’t change so will figurine out what is going on if nobody know,,,will call Humminbird and see what they say. Here is a few pics tho.

Great pics! Can't wait to get mine.
Clean the contacts for the wet switch I mean clean them good just don`t wipe them off, seems to be some type of coating on some of them from the factory.
.
I washed mine off again last night again with dawn dish soap and clean water rinse afterwards, then got a 5 gal bucket of water and retracted it in it and worked like a charm again changing the settings from 360 view to SI view and turning ping off and on testing it. Then checked it again this morning and it worked perfect again so I left it sit in the bucket of water over 5 hrs. Went back out to garage and checked it running thru every thing again with it working perfect. Heading to a lake in the morning to run the Mega 360 again for a few hours testing it all out. Taking dawn soap and micro cloth with me this time and if it quits at the lake, will wash the contacts off at the lake to see if that has any effect. Love the views of the Mega 360 and the way it works.

Got out to test the Mega 360 today, was at West Boggs lake in southwest Indiana, all mega 360 settings today were default settings with sensitivity set mostly at 10, contrast at 10, screen speed at 3, and I set the water colum setting to -1 to clean up the algie water column below the boat. SI pics are using the mega 360 itself switching from front view of 360 to SI. I don’t have the Y cable yet so the temp, and depth setting is from my networked 9 SI G2N mega transducer on transom. The absolute nice thing is I can leave it on at the back of the boat running, no cross talk or interference of any kind at all compared to the Gen 1 360. If you look close, you will find fish.
Here is pics of the transducer that spins to give 360 views. It’s not in a oil bath like the gen 1 360. When used for SI views, it will be in a vertical or straight set for giving Sid Image views. Also is a pic of the 2 wet switches on top, that needs to be kept clean as a small electrical charge jumps from one to the other to start the Mega 360 when put into water, and then when retracted out of the water, shuts the spin off. Needs to be kept clean as I would think you would want to keep the road grit out of it so I enclose my pod with a sil nylon bag I can wrap closed at the top.
Nice, I really like the side images more than the 360 ones. Very nice that you can get both!
Those are great!!! Mega images while sitting still would be awesome.
