    What's the difference of ulterex? and tarova?

    The Ulterra is a self deploy and stow t/m while the Terrova is manually deployed and stowed.
    I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

    Ultrex is same motor as Terrova except it has a foot pedal that is cable operated with electric assist. It has ipilot and all the stuff Terrova has. Foot pedal is really easy to use and great if you jig fish a lot. Only draw back is pedal can not be removed. You can run it with remote just like Terrova.

    Between the 2 TM . and. Are they only compatible with helix no ?

    iLink is a Minn Kota product that talks to any Humminbird unit that has Ethernet capability ... meaning the trolling motor functions can be controlled on the Humminbird ...

    There are Minn Kota trolling motors that do not have the iLink ... so be sure the trolling motor you choose says in the product literature iLink ...

    iLink is only compatible with Humminbird ...
