Default Livescope on older Terrova shaft - How to mount?

I just got my livescope in and now comes the question of how to mount it. I have looked at all the options with mounting on a seperate pole altogether but for now I think I want to start with it on the TM shaft. I have one of the older (2015 model) Terrova's and would like to see if anyone else is running this mounted on one and how you did it? Pics would be great if you have them.

It can be done, but you are better off, mounting to separate gizmo. The cable is to big to go thur the tube and down the groove. You can loosely wrap around the shaft, but beware it can get caught between The mount and get cut.

Something to consider with it mounted on the trolling motor that if/when you use the spotlock feature on the Terrova, the Livescope view is then locked in that direction.

If you use spotlock on that pre 2017 BT Terrova, be sure to leave plenty of slack in that expensive cable as they had a habit of rotating past 360 degrees.

My 2 cents, owning a Terrova and Livescope, is to use a remote mount for the LVS32 such as one of the Cornfieldcrappiegear or other type stick mounts.

    Good luck with the project.

Thanks guys for the input. I was really hoping not to spend another $200-300 on something if possible. I've seen a lot of the homemade mounts that are separate and that may be the route I end up taking. May just start by mounting it on bottom housing of TM with the wire band they include.....unless anyone has had problems with doing it that way?
