    Default Garmin Livescope transducer mount

In the testing phase right now but I believe that I have a good way to mount these transducers to your boat and allow you to adjust the direction of the transducer right next to your seat. Check out my pictures and let me know what you think. I have a small machine shop and designed this for my fishing buddy and I’m in the process of making one for my boat now.

Looks good so far. I made a bow mount for mine from an old foot control trolling motor. I use the foot pedal to turn it. With the business end of the trolling motor reduced, there's no weight on the shaft, so small adjustments on mine are hard to make. I tend to overshoot what I'm trying to look at. I've thought about taking the foot pedal off mine and adding a handle to the top. If I do that, I'm going to articulate the handle in the center so I can push/pull to turn the transducer 360 instead of having to rotate a long handle in a circle. If you like that idea, feel free to try it.

I went with this setup called the poleducer until something comes out that mounts on the trolling motor but works like a hand control TM.

Sounds like a good idea, with the Garmin Livescope on the front deck now my boat entrance point is really getting crowded. By mounting this to the outside and right beside your seat you can enter the boat without tripping over it. Unfortunately the ramps I use to launch my boat don’t have a dock that you can use for a side entrance to the boat, even if they did my fishing buddy wound still find something to step on... like poles or tackle boxes

I don't remember fishing with you, but it's entirely possible!

You don’t remember stepping on that new B & M jigpole and me telling you not to worry, I had purchased that rod coverage a BPS on it?? Come to find out the coverage was for a different rod ... you owe me $60 the way I see it.
