    9 inch?

If so, then your choice would be #1---compact transduer.

I thought the compact transducer was only on the original 9" Helix but it looks like that was the transducer supplied with your unit.

A good friend of mine helped me with this,,,,Quit trying to figure out what was on the bottom for structure and trying to figure out what I was seeing, instead strictly look for fish and nothing else. Who cares what that thing is if there are no fish around it, what was happening is I was so intent on the object that I did not pay attention to the rest of the screen.

After that I set up my depth finder totally different then what most recommend, as I do not care about a pretty picture I run my scroll speed faster so any fish marks get elongated and makes them easier to see. I will also keep up my enhance menu up at all times so I can adjust from soft to hard bottom or depth changes I never just turn it on and leave the same settings all day. Once I find fish then I will swing back around, slow down scroll speed and figure out why those fish are there.
I’ve read this over and over and I’m all for thinking out the box. But the hardest thing for me is.... I can always catch fish. Maybe more other times than some, maybe bigger other times than some. BUT they are always on one of the structures. Question is if I can to that one spot in time w/o wasting too much time elsewhere.
Then it comes to, I’m ready to go to anew river. Start all over again

Not sure I would ever leave without a pole though.... that takes a man with more willpower than me. God bless you

I want to be able to adjust the Bird depth offset of the transducer. I’ve yet to find that setting that I had in an older unit years back on a portable depth finder.

Under the sonar tab and “connected transducer” area, my options are:
    1) compact side imaging
    2) HB 50/200 kHz + 455 kHz SI
    3) HB 83/200 kHz
    4) HB 50/200 kHz
5)-8) generic low, medium, high & 50/200 kHz

This is all Arabic to me.
Are all of these options within my one transducer or is it asking me to pick which option my transducer is capable of
“Depth Offset” is under the Setup tab ... (may need to 1st set User Mode to “Advanced” or “Custom”) ...
    ——

The “Connected Transducer” menu is you telling the unit which transducer you physically connected to the unit ... so that the unit knows what frequencies to push thru which wire channels to the xducer ...
