Super nice. Unbelievable what some of you guys on here come up with. WOW!!!
Thought I would share a little project I had been working on as others may be interested.
Basicaly using a Minn Kota system with a Copliot fob to turn the Livescope transducer left and right and then engage a compass Autopilot to keep the transducer pointed at the target.
Even though the boat was on Spotlock from the Terrova trolling motor, the problem was the boat moved around with the wind and required constant adjustment with the stick system I was using to keep on target.
I added a indexing base to the existing stick plate so the unit can pivot into the boat.
Already had the Copilot and Auto pilot compass boards laying around from old Terrova upgrades.
I had to buy a 12 volt Terrova board (pre BT) to work with the items I already had.
Different boards for the Power Drives and V2s and Terrovas. If I was starting from scratch I probably would have used everything for a V2 due to cost
The Terrova Autopilot compass assembly mounted the same way in a V2 head, so I used the cheaper V2 drive motor and V2 shaft with the V2 head assembly.
Bought a 12v Terrova board to match the power output for a 12v V2 drive motor . These are plug and play as the Main and Copilot boards are normally mounted in the motor base.
Those two boards are mounted in the box. The coil cord has the plug connection for the Autopilot module in the Head unit and plugs into the Main board in the box.
Only thing I could not confirm is if the drive gear motor gears are the same in the 12 volt V2 and Terrova, so I dont know if the turning ratio is the same with a Terrova board output commanding a V2 drive motor.
So far, it seems to work fine.
Also hooked up a non BT Terrova foot pedal so you can turn the transducer and engage Autopilot with your foot, if you have your hands are busy.
Apologies, somehow I inserted all the pics as one group instead of individual.
Below is a short video of the unit in action.
If you watch the video full screen, you can see a crappie caught off the deep end of the tree at about 40 sec, on the graph.

That is clever. Welcome, new member of the Brain Trust.
'at boy just ain't right.
Absolutely overwhelming. I am fortunate as I don’t have to adjust much after hitting spot lock and turning my Da Ducer to the fish on brush. Your efforts are truly extraordinary. Good job.
