Setting up settings in demo
Can I go to demo on my Helix unit and enter the settings like I want and will they be saved in the unit from the demo ?
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

Demo mode and simulator mode are 2 different things .... Pretty sure it must be in simulator mode to save settings.

Oops, I was meaning simulator mode to save settings. Sheesh! Don’t think I have ever used demo mode.Your going to make me check out demo mode now.

Demo mode is what the big box stores set the unit to for customers to operate the unit on the store counter ... It has balloon pop-ups on the screen that describes features of the unit as customers play with the buttons ... Settings cannot be stored in Demo Mode ... Demo mode should be shut off under the Setup tab ...
To start the unit in Simulator mode that does, indeed save setting - press the Menu button upon bootup when the HB logo appears .... Choose "Simulator" from the choices in the pop-up window ...
Settings in Simulator will retain as long as the power button is used to power off the unit ... (do not kill power with a toggle switch) ...
