Managed to get it to the dock and Ryan met me there, he took it apart boat sitting in the water and got it working it worked for a couple hours till the wind drove me off the water. Hopefully problem solved for good
What was the cause of problem that he found ?

The electrical board behind the power button was loose. When he had it disassembled it powered on as it should. All functions worked too, so he somehow got the board tightened and reassembled it.

Loose board was probably was causing a bad power or ground connection .... I've heard a lot of good things about Chips.
