    Default Sun shade for the first gen helix 12


    Looking for a sunshade for the first generation helix 12, I called barley pro and the don’t make one do ya’ll know of a good one?

    Yeah I couldn’t find one either, you’d think the manufacturer would make one as an accessory hint hint

    Although I have one for my Helix 10 I had to modify the one for my Garmin 8610asx, both from Berkeley Pro. There are also a few YouTube videos on making one using the same inexpensive material available on Amazon using a heat gun to form the visor. I was going to do that until I modified one I had inadvertently bought.

    I have the same problem with My Garmin 93sv, you can not read it in the sun, it is horrible.

    They make visors for the garmin 93, but for some reason not for the helix 12

    That is the one I spoke about in an earlier post. I bought some of that material but ended up modifying a visor I bought by mistake. This video denotes a reasonable solution and one I intend on trying.

    I recently bought a Helix 10 and want a sun screen for it. I checked Berkeley Pro website and didn’t find anything there. Do you know where I can find one? Thanks
