    Default GPS accuracy

I have a garmin 93sv and when I click on skyview to check gps accuracy it's only 9ft. It's close enough to work but it makes it a little harder to find my brush piles. Are other units better and which ones.

Don't quote me on this, but I think 3 meter (9ft) variance is about as accurate as the public's GPS accuracy gets.

Civilian GPS has an accuracy rate of 3 meters. It's to keep ISIS and the like from having pin-point coordinates for their nefarious schemes.

Try finding those spots while on the ice. X marks the spot than drill in circles until your right on the brush pile. Not bad except when you use a hand drill.

You may be able to use the russian Glonass satellite with that unit. Not sure if it is more accurate than the traditional waas or just faster but mu understanding is that it does have some advantage.

GPS will get you really close to a geocache. Within a few feet. Should get you really close to brush piles also
