Default Bluetooth on trolling motor and /or helix

I guess I missed it . What are the advantages of having Bluetooth?

Easy software updates by being able to link it up with your phone, being able to use your phone as the remote in case you forgot the real remote or pedal, and the heading sensor requires bluetooth.

Bluetooth TMs: 1. Heading Sensor supplied with TM connects via Bluetooth (different from AS GPS HS receiver), 2. Allows pairing of TM with smartphone TM app which can be used as a remote and to update software on the TM.

Fishfinders: 1. Started with the Helix G2N models and ONIX/Solix models and used to connect with other Bluetooth capable accessories (phones, remotes, talons).
