Thread: Noisy Terrova

I have a well used Terrova that is about 10 years old. Bought it used and haven't had any major trouble with it. However, lately the thing has been creaking like crazy. It is quiet while turning, however the noise seems to occur whenever the motor is engaged and flexes in the frame.

Anyone have a solution to this?

Take your side covers off unplug and deploy motor. Set depth colar about mid shaft the take shaft and rock it back and forth to see where squeak is coming from. I suspect bushings on through shaft are worn letting something plastic to rub when it does that. Going to post a link to northland marine. I couldn’t find a pin and bushing kit for Terrova. But if you need parts you can call them with serial number and I’m sure they have them. Great people to work with.
