Default looking at a humminbird helix 5 di for $150?

Is this a good deal for me? Im looking at trying to do some spider rigging for crappie. Would this be a good finder? And is the price good? Is there anything I should watch out for so I dont get conned or tricked into buying something that isnt what it was advertised as? Thanks for any help here. Was priced at $200 and a half hour after I asked what model of the helix 5 it was, Price dropped to $150. Kinda seemed an odd thing to happen after I expressed interest in it? I thought so anyways?

What model did he say it was? I would be weary for that price considering you can get a Helix 5 Sonar for around $200, or the DI for just a little more. These are the ones without GPS and do not support any map cards. The GPS models are more expensive. I would want the model, hours and pictures if it were me. And since we do not know the source it's hard to say if they are reputable, be careful a lot of cons out there! Side note I would prefer a 7" at least for rigging, be hard to see that 5" screen sitting on the bow and running split screen is almost not an option.

I believe that is the Gen 1 model meaning it has a few years on it, you can buy new for about $320. Yep the 7" screen makes a big difference especially if you plan to use a map card and run contour lines, channels, ledges etc. You can use a split screen DI and map combo.

Snubby, if you blow the pick up and look in the bottom right corner of that screen it says DI/GPS so wouldn't that show the maps and contour lines. I don't know, so I'm asking...

For that price I would expect to get just the head unit only. Does it come with a transducer, power cord, and gimbal bracket?
