Default Which graph you recommend for pontoon?

Well we purchased an older pontoon to be able to take my little girl out more. It has a basic depth finder on it but I was wondering if you guys could recommend something cheap for it. We will use it trolling and jugging with occasional uses of fishing around docks. Kids come with high price tags so I would like to stay around the 400 dollar mark. I have seen quite a few garmin and g2 helix on cabelas that I are close to that price range. I prefer to goto bass pro or cabelas bc I received gift cards over the last two holidays and I figured I would apply those towards the purchase. Thanks in advance.

Pro and cons of each you guys recommend would be awesome.

Either one you could afford would work great. Pictures are going to be pretty close in comparison to each other. Only con is with Garmin in that range all you get is a basic map. But you can still mark way points and if not mistaken you can add them manually. On Humminbird you can use the Navionics or Lakemaster map cards. Personally I prefer the lakemaster if your lake or lakes are covered. For what you are spending I’d pick the cheapest for comprobale screen size. Don’t think you would be disappointed with either.

Depends on what you want it to do as far as what it shows on the screen. Most in that price range can show you 2d - DI - and some may even have SI. Forget SI on anything less than a 9" screen (my ) .... but a 7" screen showing 2d/DI (separate or combined) can be had in that price range. (my Hook 7, for instance, was less than $400).
