    Default Waypoint sharing

Ok so I have 2 Helix 9s networked with Ethernet cable. Do both units have to be powered up in order for the waypoints to show up from one unit to the other ?
BTW "share waypoints " is turned on on both units.

    Thanks,
    P

I would think they have to be powered, to share the way points.

Mine are older than the helix but both have to be on to share. If I turn the console unit off the waypoints I marked on that unit disappear off the bow unit

Not all gen 1 2 and 3 are compatible with each other and will share. The humminbird Web sight tells you which units are compatible
