Default Fish finder for Jon boat?

Just looking for recommendations for a fish finder for our 12 ft Jon boat. I saw a man with a similar boat using a garmin striker that he said was $100 and worked great. Iíd like to stay at $150 or less. Iím just learning about all this fishing stuff and sure you all have much more knowledge about whatís best. Thanks

Thanks. I looked at them. Would the 4plus with dual transducer be worth the $40 more dollars or would I need that on a Jon boat. I donít know very much about them. Just want one to do a sufficient job.

For a little more $ the plus is worth it, look on YouTube their is a comparison between the 2.

I think you will like it, I had an older version that worked great. Upgraded to a Garmin 7SV. The old 1 I plan on using as a portable unit at fishing docks. Just need a small battery and rig up a transducer mount.
