    Default Solix / helix software update question.


    I brought a sd card large enough to put both updates on include the maps. I downloaded the files and unzipped them using winzip app and installed it on the card. When I put it in the Solix unit it never recognized the sd card. Same thing in the helix unit. I tried to Bluetooth it and use fishsmart phone and iPad would pair but it wouldn’t ever show software please help.

    Probably needed to format the new card in the HB before loading the files on it.

    I would not put different updates for different units on the same card.
    Could cause you problems.

    What size card, humminbird units will not read anything over 32gb

    Any size card 2gb and up to including 32gb works for a download.
