Sorry, fellows, but could not find the old thread. Any suggestions on a non scratching manner of cleaning your monitor? Thanks in advance.

I use the eyeglass cleaning wipes that you can pick up about anywhere. They are handy and don't take up much room in the tackle box

I use VIUS screen cleaner. I get if off of Amazon. GREAT product. Spray it on and wipe it off with micro fibre cloth.

I mix white vinegar and water 50-50. Wipe with micro fiber cloth. All the above will work. Make sure you do NOT apply ammonia in a product

I use the Marine Electronics Screen Cleaner from Ripalip. I bought a cover for my Helix 8 and added the cleaner on a whim. Turned out to be good stuff.

I dunno about using acetic acid (vinegar). on these screens. I would call the manufacturer and check on that one !

Sure, it will do a good job cleaning the screen. But it also may “clean” the glare proof coating off as well over time.

If you do call please report what you found out on this thread.
