    Default LS No power

Blew a fuse on livescope, wasn't using it. Now nothing. Traced all cables, replaced fuse...tried another battery, can not get power. Could it have blown the auxiliary switch I have it connected to? I'm stumped.

No idea. Did you try contacting Garmin? Sorry to hear. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me. Found out I had no power to the plug at the unit. Traced back to where the power cord was connected to the hot wire and found my connection to the hot line was bad. Added a new splice to the hot wire and done.

Are you saying from your splice back to the battery?

If you blew a fuse you have a short somewhere. Replace the fuse with the power plug disconnected from the Livescope and see if it blows again .... it will blow again if there is a bare spot on a wire causing the short.

If the fuse doesn't blow, reconnect the Livescope. If it blows now there is either a short that gets disturbed when plugging in the unit or the unit is causing the short.

    Default LS No power

When I originally mounted the graph I did an inline splice on the hot line going to the cheapo dash mount that came with the boat. I just used one of the blue fold over and clamps. For whatever reason I was not getting current to the power wire. That had lasted 10 years so I just installed a new one right beside the old one.
