Certain HB models have a different shaped cable collector (and some don't even have a cable collector) ... but the actual cable ends are common across most models ...
Post a picture of xducer cable ends where I can see the pins ...

I have an old Humminbird Wide Optic and the screen is starting to go. Have lost about 20% off the left side. I was looking around for one on ebay and noticed that the connectors for several different models are the same. Does anyone know if these heads are truly interchangeable?
Thank you.

Thanks, Rickie, sorry for the delay. See below - is this what you wanted?
Humminbird Wide Optic came stock with the old Tri Beam xducer which has a piezo configuration not used in but a few older model Humminbirds ...

The house shaped connector on the right is the xducer cable ...
Can you find any printing on the cable within a foot or so of the connector to verify if this is the Tri Beam for sure ...??

Thanks again.
It has something illegible on one side of the cable and a number that appears to be XT6TB9o897 on the other side. Does this help?
Another thing: I went to "transducer options" under Options. 3 different ones are listed, but the unit will only let me select Tri-Beam.
I would guess that xducer is indeed the Tribeam that came standard with the Wide Optic ...
If your question is whether a different model head unit would work on that xducer - I would say partially (the 200kHz piezo in the Tribeam is the same as the piezo in other HB units with 200kHz 2d capability) ...
I would try to select "Dual Beam" in the transducer options Menu of any other HB head unit connected ... and select 200kHz only in the "Beam Frequency" menu to shut off any other transmit frequency ...
