Default Graph maps, Best for price

Got a new boat, that has 2 Hummingird Helix 7's and added my Lowrance (Can't remember the model number but got it about 9 months ago). The Humminbird map is VERY generic where the Lowrance shows a lot more detail. I am looking at maps to purchase but they are so expensive. I really do not want to spend my money on something that I do not know will give me a good map. I seem to have generic maps of everything in the area (have not zoomed out to see how far) but would like contour lines and depths instead of a big blue thing showing I am in a lake. Any advise? Feel free to post pics if you have them to help me. Thank you all in advance.

HB can use LakeMaster or Navionics mapping ...

LakeMaster has a few more customization options than Navionics ...

To determine your region - Find your lake listing for LakeMaster here ...:
    https://www.humminbird.com/support/Find-A-Lake
(Once you open the lake listings pay attention to the legend at the top right that indicates "Bold Hi Definition Survey" means 1ft contours) ...

Have you upgraded the software and installed the new basemap?

If you want to try Lakemaster, you can purchase a single lake on ChartSelect and download it to a microSD card and a mobile device

The HD contour layer for Tyler Lake in Smith County, Texas is $9.99

    ChartSelect | Humminbird ChartSelect
