Looking at getting one of these but I see it only comes with the mega down image transducer.
So I know the down image part of the transducer only works with hummingbird units but does the 2D part of the transducer work with Lowrance?

Already called them and it is correct.
They have discontinued a lot of original stock and only rigging them with MDI transducer.
I have already talked to a lot of Ranger dealers that sale a lot of the multi species series like my boat that used the trolling motor that I need and they are not happy to put it nicely.

this motor was made last year. I have searched the internet and can't find a left over any where.
I was told yesterday that Lowrance and Garmin was coming out with there on line of trolling motors sometime this year. Don't know who is making them.

I have a 60" terrova on it now. That was the only options that Ranger recommended when I ordered it. I have talked to several ranger dealerships that sale a lot of these boats and they said I MIGHT get away with a 52" motor. I don't have one to try and am not willing to buy one and take a gamble. Trust me I'm not the only one dealing with this issue. The dealerships I talked with said they used a lot of these motors in 60". They are not happy to say the least.Minn Kota said it was a lack of sales is why they discontinued it and my reply was then why do you offer it with with the MDI. They didn't have any comments after that.
