how do i label my way-points other than the number thats automatic when ya hit mark. can it be one from the unit or does it have to be done on the computer.

Editing Waypoints in a HB core unit is a task (to say the least) ...

*Press Menu twice to get into the Main Menu System ...
*Cursor over to the Nav tab ...
*Cursor down to Waypoints Routes Tracks ...
*Cursor right to open Waypoint Management ...
*Cursor to "Sort By" at the top and choose the option that gets closest to the Waypoint in question ....
*Cursor down and highlight the Waypoint in question ....
*Cursor right to open options for that Waypoint ...
*Cursor to highlight Edit ...
*Cursor right to open Edit Menu ...
*Cursor right and left to highlight character needed to change (character chosen will flash)
*Cursor up or down to change character ...
*Change all characters as needed ...
*Cursor to "Save" ...
*Cursor right to activate Save command ...

Or import into Humminbird PC and edit and import back into head unit ...
