    Default Live Scope

I have been thinking about a live scope, is anyone running one on an 9" echo map plus, is the resolution high enough ?
seems like all the screen shots and videos I have seen have been on Chartplotters with a higher resolution.

I have been using the 93sv with my LiveScope system and really like it. I just bought a used 12” chart plotter, not because anything is wrong with the 9” but for the bigger screen only. I built a mobile unit and it works great for my needs. The resolution is fine for seeing your jigs and the fish once you get the settings the way you like it. Hope this helps. I like your concept!
    I have some questions???

How long do the batteries last?
Are the batteries lead acid or lithium
    Make/model number on the batteries?
    What kind of batteries?
Model number on the pelican case?
I see its mounted to a cutting board base?
Does the transducer store in the case or stay on the boat?
Are you using the transducer on the trolling motor or some other way?

Sorry for all of the questions.

The case is Apache 4800 from Harbor Freight. The Batteries are Lithium 12v from Energized Outdoors. One is 12ah and the other is a 10ah battery. I drilled a hole in the side and back of the case to run the transducer cables out. I keep the transducer hooked up to my pole all the time. I have a mount on my boat to put the unit on when I’m in my boat and bought a second mount for the case to make it mobile. I attached everything to a cutting board I purchased at Walmart. I used 2 pin quick connectors for the batteries so I can unplug the LiveScope every time because some say it still draws current even when off. For the pole I used a paint roller pole and bought an adapter that screws on the bottom to hold the transducer. I got it from Todd Dye on Facebook. I bought an old transom mount trolling motor and took the clamp part off to use my pole on. I made a place on each side of the boat to clamp it to. So far everything has worked great. Not sure how long the batteries will last but I have fished all day and have not run one down yet. I run the LiveScope on its own battery and the unit on the other. If you check out the Garmin LiveScope page on Facebook there is a ton of ideas and information on there. That’s where I got my ideas. Hope this helps.Name: 3B1820E9-53A4-4EA5-9540-185C9DBB10A1.jpg

Very innovative but I am not qualified so will continue to lean on those that are like Rickie and his Da Ducer. Good post and lots of good work.

I am thinking about using a 30 amp hr deep cycle agm motorcycle battery as a dedicated power source for the livescope system. Thoughts?
