    I’m not an expert on batteries but the one you listed says it weighs 22lbs! That would be my only concern. I went with Lithium batteries because they weigh a lot less than lead sealed ones and my system is mobile. Just my opinion. If weight is not a concern to you then it probably will be ok, but again I’m not an expert. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the feedback, I plan to mount it in the front hatch on my rt188 with the processor and a battery charger, not portable. The weight is a good thing up front, boat will ride steadier in the chop while spider rigging.

    The Garmin 93sv only has a screen resolution of 800X400 so the picture is not going to be quite as nice as the newer Helix models, but the Helix doesn't show real time images. I'd say the images on the Livescope are similar to the Humminbird 360 sonar returns.

    Livescope uses 1.75 amps/hour (21 watts).
