    Default Helix generation differences

I was hoping someone could explain the differences between the generation 2 and generation 3 mega imaging helix units. Is the 3 that much different then the 2? Any input would be great. Thanks

G2N has MEGA imaging in ::
    9 DI
    9 SI
    10 DI
    10 SI
    12 DI
    12 SI
    -----

    G3N has MEGA+ imaging in :
    8 SI
    9 DI
    9 SI
    10 DI
    10 SI
    12 DI
    12 SI

MEGA+ has the same detail with more range than MEGA ... (and the 2d piezo is better) ...

Isn't the 7 now included in G3N ? I think that was a big deal for this year as it hadn't been previously included.

You are correct ... My apologies ...

HELIX 7 G3 and G3N now comes in MEGA DI and MEGA SI (but not MEGA +) ...

What does more range mean? Wider cone angle? What is the difference in 20' of water?

More transmit power (with some filtering I'm guessing) = more range with the same detail ... (Doesn't go dark to the sides in SI as quickly) ...
