    Default Universal sonar/ Hz

I noticed some of the new Helix units state 50/80/200hz compatibility, instead of 83/200hz. Will a Helix G3N 2D/GPS that states 50/80/200hz compatibility work ok with the 83/200hz US minnkota ducer?

Yessir ... The 50/83/200kHz simply means the unit is capable of transmitting those three 2d frequencies ... dependent on which xducer is connected and selected (83/200kHz xducer or 50/200kHz xducer) ...

With the HELIX 2d GPS G3N connected to US2 - You would select "HB 83/200kHz" in the "Connected Transducer" selection under the Sonar tab ...

Looks like it might be a typo that had me wondering. The site I was looking at listed the Hz as 80 on some of the non-mega units not 83. The Mega units listed 83. I knew the US ducer was 83/200Hz

    Listed as below-

    Sonar-Frequencies Supported: 50/80/200 kHz

    Thanks!
