good unit Hummingbird to go with a minn kota terrova
I have a Terrova that I removed from a boat I recently sold. I was using a Garmin with it own xducer on it previous but would like to cut down cables. I have a new (to me) stick steer boat lined up, looking for a good unit to go with this rig. Do you only get 2d sonar using the Terrova transducer? Would you recommend using the trolling motor xducer?

On my stick steer I run a 998 mounted by my right knee off the transom, then I have a helix 7 Si/Di on ram mount mounted on my Terrova. Before I used transducer in motor with just 2d and it worked fine but I like having Di on front so extra cable doesn’t really bother me.
