Default Humminbird Helix 10 Mega CHRIP DI/SI GPS G3N / Minn Kota Terrova i-pilot link HELP

Anyone know of a Humminbird technichan located in the West Tennessee area. I have been on the phone with Humminbird for two days and still at a stand still.

The issue i'm having is both units power up and when they connect to the Minn Kota Terrova i-pilot link they immediately shut down and reboot.

The trolling motor has the newest updates available but still no luck.

Humminbird customer support has been great, but I have given up fixing this myself. Looks like I will have to pay someone to get the issue corrected.

Check both units for software versions. There was a issue where when you down loaded a certain version with out turning something off it would cause this. Guys had to reload a older version to units go in and turn something off, then reload latest version then go back in and turn back on what you turned off. Call bird and ask them about that and see if maybe that’s your problem. Sorry I’m not able to give you specifics but I just remember guys fighting this problem.

Is your Helix running version 1.940?

You may have to revert back to 1.64 software and try this
    .
    With the older software installed:
Go to Main Menu/Accessories/ I-Pilot Settings/ Auto Upload Data and turn that OFF.
Then re-install the new software. You can use Auto Upload ON or OFF after that.

Thanks for the suggestions. I believe after talking with the entire staff at Humminbird the past two and a half days they have me up and running.

The Humminbird staff all worked diligently to get me back up. The customer service staff is the best. I really thought they were going to block my number having called so many time.
