Thread: Minn Kota us2 and HMI transducer

Buying new terrova with US2. Looking at moving my HDS gen 2 touch to bow using an HMI transducer on TM for DS and moving HDS gen 2 non touch to bow for Using US2 sonar off TM. Units only 7” so hoping to use full screen sonar and DS at same time Think I’ll have interference?

I think you may mean an HDI transducer. If you want to run both of those units up front I'd just mount an HDI transducer on the TM and connect it to your touch unit and connect an Ethernet cable between the two units.
Then you can use downscan on the touch unit and run 2d sonar on the non-touch unit. You will need to select the touch unit as your sonar source on the non-touch unit. This way you'll only need the HDI transducer for both units.
