    Default Ipilot issue

Have a 55 # Minnkota Terrova Powerdrive V2 with ipilot. Fishing last wknd and had a couple times when the left and right arrow would not function. All the other features seemed to work fine. Finally unplugged the TM and plugged back in and it started working. Did same thing again and that was the fix once again. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas or maybe a solution.

If you were on trial for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you??

Have you put a new battery in your remote? Might be from it? Just a thought.

Not in a while. Still showing at least 3/4 full.

Sometimes mine does that when not a clear signal to the control head. If I'm in the back of boat and something is blocking the path to control head. Maybe you were walking in between each time you went to unplug? Otherwise low voltage from battery or batteries could cause this. Check all connections from unit to batteries. Also load test batteries. Next would be testing the control board which would be possibly going out.

Check battery connections. And wiring connections on both sides of motor to boat plug. Then pull side cover off where your control boards are. They are connected with just slip on spade connectors. They can become loose. Also I might put a battery in remote even though they seldom go dead.

My Ultrex has done something similar a few times; if I move the foot pedal a little the remote direction buttons start responding.

Mine was doing something similar. New battery for the remote took care of it. The old battery was practically brand new.
