    Default Lowrance elite 7

Lowrance elite 7 not showing structure. Still shows depth, speed and water temp. Was working good last week. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks. Name: IMG_2458.jpg

Only thing wrong I can see is the screen backlighting is too dark and there seems to be some kinda "interference" showing across the screen (black vertical bars).
As far as no "structure" showing .... it would appear that there was no "structure" within the 455kHz beam.

The vertical lines are evidently from my phone because they weren’t showing on the depth finder. I definitely know there was structure all around my boat at that time. But who knows... Thanks for replying.

Yeah, but remember .... the beam itself is only about 3deg wide, so it's not gonna pick up anything until your transducer is right over top of it. And at that speed you aren't covering much distance, so you may not have moved far enough to pick up anything within the beam.

Have you tried the 800kHz setting or used the Blue palette color ?? I used them most often on my old Elite 5DSI unit, and continue to do so with my Hook 7 .... I just prefer them to the 455kHz setting and the other palette colors. And here's why :

The only reason the first pic shows 455kHz is because it was taken when I first changed the palette color over to blue, and hadn't gotten around to trying out the 800kHz setting. Once I did, I never changed it back. Even though the 800kHz beam is ~45deg, and the 455kHz beam is ~75deg .... the 800kHz beam shows more detail.

I'll try the blue and the 800khz setting. Thanks for your help.
