I really don't take time to make videos when I fish but I made one when I had then 40 ft behind boat and will try to upload later. Yes, I play with the settings to get good picture and sometimes you have to move your jig to see it. The only thing I have done right from start was change the Auto depth and Auto range from on to off. Change Gain to Auto High, Med, Low depending on water quality. Set your range to trolling length and depth to the depth you want to look at. If you don't run auto gain, set your gain to where it is little grainy and be sure to check the Noise rejection setting, if this setting is too high it will make seeing your jigs hard. If you have changed a lot of settings, go back to the default settings and work from there. Also, be sure you have the latest firmware update!
I am running Echomap Plus 93 SV. All in all, it works pretty good for me!

I am saving this post so I can remember your settings as soon as I can get the +93sv unit.

I need just one of those beauties each day to win a local daily crappie contest.

I have the Live Scope System but Overton's screwed me over on the +93 unit after I bought it from them two weeks ago. So now I need to find another source and will be forced to pay a much higher price for it.

Hey ezgoing, how did Overton screw you? I just ordered a 93sv plus from them last week, they said it should be in within two weeks.

So for so good with my order, ezgoing said Overton screwed him on his purchase and I was questioning what happened.

Did you order it at the regular price or the sale price? If you paid the full price you will receive it. If you paid the sale price I will be surprised if you ever receive it since the sale price was to clear out last year models before the new models arrived.

They told me the same thing they told you but they told me one week. They charge your credit card as soon as you order and sent you an order confirmation email that confirms the order states the unit is in stock. I ordered my unit on Feb 8th, was told it was in stock and I would receive on Feb 15th. When I did not receive it on Feb 15th I checked the web site and saw it listed as "processing". Since it was after hours I had to wait till Monday to call and see what processing meant and when I would receive my unit.

A answering service took the call. told me the main office was closed due to bad weather. He stated if I had the order number he could look it up for me. Turns out he could not find my order number but he was able to look it up by my name. He then told me that "processing" meant it was on back order. I asked him how could it be on back order since the web site showed it was in stock when I bought it and the order confirmation email stated it was in stock. He told me he could not answer questions, he could only tell me it was on back order and I would need to call the regular customer service staff to get any questions answered.

So Tuesday morning I called and talked with a lady in customer service. She look up the order and told me that it was on back order. I asked her when it was expected to arrive. She said that information was not listed so that meant they did not have a date when they expected the back ordered units to arrive.

I asked her how could be placed on back order when the web site stated it was in stock. She told me the web site was never accurate since they received too many orders in a day to keep it up to date. I then asked her why the order confirmation email stated it was in stock and give me the expected arrive date. She stated the order confirmation email was initiated when the charge went through for the purchase. She stated the only time they could tell it was in or out of stock was when they sent the order to shipping to process to send out.

I asked her why I did not receive an email telling me the unit was out of stock so I could have cancelled the order and bought it elsewhere. She told me they never sent out back order notices to customers. They received too many orders each day and it would be very difficult to notify each customer their order was on back order. The customer would be told when they called in asking why their order was not delivered.

I asked her if they did not notify the customer at any time how was the customer to know they were not going to receive their item on time. She again told me that they waited until the customer called in and asked why their order had not been delivered. They then tell the customer the order was back ordered and they could request a refund if they did not want to wait till the back order merchandise arrived.

I was her why did Overton's charged for the merchandise at the time of sale instead of waiting till the time of shipping so they would know if the order was in stock. She told me that they would not know if it was a valid order until they had received the payment for the order.

I asked her why they did not feel it was unethical to take the customers money and not tell them if the order was back ordered. She told me this was standard practice in the industry. I told that it was only standard practice for unethical companies as I knew of several major companies that immediately notified me if the item was out of stock and would ask me if I wanted to wait or did I want an immediate refund.

I again asked her when I could expect the order to be shipped. She again told me that she did not know since that information was not on the order. I asked if that information was normally on the order and she replied if they know when they would receive the shipment of back ordered items it would be on the order. If it was not on the order then the company did not know when the delivery would arrive.

I asked her if it wasn't true that this unit was reduced in price due to it being last year's model. She told me that was normally the case for this large a reduction in price. I asked her if she thought the manufacturer would restart the production of last year models to supply Overton's with the back ordered units. She said she did not know but she doubted it. She stated they often had additional stock of last year's model and would ship that. But she did not know when that would happen since the records do not reflected this.

I asked her if she was aware that Overton's had just screwed me by these actions. She stated they had not screwed me since I could get a refund if I wished. I pointed out to her that by being told I would receive the fish finder I waited for it. In that time Bass Pro Shop and other companies had this fish finder at the same sale price that Overton's was selling it. However none of them have any more of these units in stock and are not selling them at this price.

They do have the new units but they are selling them for full price so by treating me this way Overton's cost me over $400 since I will be forced to buy the unit at the regular price, not the sale price. I considered that being screwed unless Overton's would take the loss.

I asked if Overton's would be sending me the new unit to fill the back order if they were unable to receive another shipment of the old units. She told me they would be sending me the unit I ordered and paid for. I asked how they could do that if they could not receive another shipment of the old units. She stated that I should then request a refund and get my money back.

I told her I wanted a refund but I was going to give Overton's a bad rating on every rating site I could find and warn the members of every fishing and marine forum where I was a member that Overton's no longer cared about their customers and would lie to them about back orders. I told her I believed Overton's had screwed me out of $400.00 by not notifying me in a timely manner about the back order so I could buy it somewhere else at that price.

She then spend the next five minutes telling me Overton's had not screwed me by treating me this way. She would say I had a right to give a negative rating on sites but I should consider the following and state a reason why Overton's actions were fair. Each time I countered her argument she would again repeat her statement this was my right but I should consider another reason, etc.

After five minutes I finally told her unless Overton's agreed to provide the new year model as a replacement for last year's model that was on sale I wanted a refund. She told me that she would process the refund and I would receive the money back on my credit card in four or five business days.

I consider this being screwed out of $400 since had Overton's emailed me about the back order status the moment they discovered they did not have the item in stock I could have cancelled the order and bought it at the sale price at BassPro.com. By the time I found out all the companies offering this discount price were out of stock and told you they were out of stock. The few places I found that still had last year's model wants the full retail price for it.

I hope you do receive the unit at the sale price but I considered it very likely to happened, given what this lady told me. I will admit I was somewhat surprised how honest she was about the situation with me.

Their web site says they are out of stock on this unit. However they do have the 2019 unit at full price.
