I do have SI and it is a G2. And thanks. One of the guys on there did say toy could take screenshots with the card in. But he didn't say if or would mess or up. The card is in the locked position though. I'm still not gonna try it till I know something for sure

That's kinda my last option. Will take a pic with my phone before I go that route I think.

I've found where snapshots can be saved to a Zero Line card ...https://www.humminbird.com/sites/hum...e-map-card.pdf

But still no documentation that SnapShots and Recordings can be saved to a LakeMaster map card ...

I wouldn't risk corrupting the LakeMaster map card ...

There was an update for the larger Helix units (version 1.4) that allowed snapshots and recordings to be saved to a Navionics map card. Don't know if they made a similar change to the Helix 7's.

I'd opt for the phone pictures .When I'm with a buddy I'll take a picture of a hot spot on his screen then if we are in my boat we can retrace our steps. You can also input the coordinates from your phone into your DF later at home. I usually have my phone with me so it's my best option for storing info. You can create folders for each lake and store screenshot pictures according to each lake.
