I’m redoing a new to me boat now. What I’m going to do is use a 1” thick cutting board from Amazon. Mount and seal it to the transom, then mount ducer to that.

I recently bought a garmin 93sv plus with plans to soon get livescope. It's going on an aluminum boat. I fish a lot of stumpy lakes and I also duck hunt out of the boat so the transducer needs to be removable for the winter. What do y'all think would be best to do with my transducer? Pics would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!

BPS has a plastic or neopreme type block that you can fasten to the transom and mount several transducers to at one time without drilling a bunch of holes in your boat.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.
Use 3M 5200 marine adhesive and 2 screws to hold the board to the transom. I did it this way and had to pull the transducer board for some work on the transom, ripped the paint right off of the boat trying to get it loose. It does take a long time to really dry well a few days minimum in warm temps.
I did the same, only used marine JB Weld and two screws to mount my board. Screws were sealed with 3M 5200 as well.
