Thread: Garmin Echomap Plus 73sv vs. 93sv

Well you guys talked me into it. I got the 9 inch. I got to Bass Pro and I wanted to see how the 9 compared to the 7 but they were already out of the 9. I immediately drove about 15 miles to Cabelas and they still had a lot of them. Only thing that was holding me back was being able to use it for ice fishing. The 7 would be better for that. I currently us my old hummingbird unit for ice fishing but thought it would be a nice option to use the Garmin. Now got to figure out how to mount the transducer. It's going to be a little tricky on my little boat. Going to see the welder tomorrow about it. He is going to weld the old holes and help me out.
