    Default Humminbird auto chart live?

I have a 32 gig card in my Helix 10 gen2. The only thing on my card are about 65 waypoints. Do I need an empty card to auto chart on or can I use the same card? Do you auto chart in SI or down image?

Autochart Live is either saved to internal memory in the unit ..... about 8 hrs data limit on that ..... or a Zero lines Card. You can do sonar recordings to a regular SD card ... but not Autochart Live.

P.S .... Waypoints are saved and used from the units internal memory ... except for snapshots if you have that option turned on. You can export your waypoints to an SD card for backup purposes, and that is a good idea .... but the waypoints that are actually being used are in the units memory.

Thanks. I exported my waypoints to the sd card just in case my unit crapped out. I've got a lot of time and sweat involved in my brush piles. I found out Dominion Power has made it illegal to put out brush piles in their power generation lakes which is a bummer. No more piles apparently. Thanks for the auto chart info, I'd like to map the Tar River Reservoir in Eastern NC.

It's good to have the waypoints backed up .... it would be even better to go the next step and bring them into Humminbird PC.....Can't have too many backups.
