    Default HB 899 trouble with mapcard


    My HB 899 suddenly started going to shutdown mode when I go to Navionics map. I've tried shutdown and reboot, remove card and try both slots, checked battery voltage, and default back to original settings to no avail. I am running two group 29 deep cycles on 12 volts , so I know my voltage is good. The card has never give any problems until now. Any suggestions?

    Gremlins like this can sometimes be caused by a corrupt Waypoint ...

    Export your Waypoints onto a blank SD card ... Format Nav Directories under the Setup tab and test ...

    It would also be a good idea to import the waypoints into Humminbird PC and look for weird dates or weird lat/long numbers ...
