Default Garmin echomap plus 93sv ram mount

Would like to be able to rotate unit 180 degrees to view from bow of boat. A height of 6-9" would be great, any recommendations or will I wear the ball mount by rotating back and forth.

I have a Ram mount on a Helix 10, it can be rotated, and don’t think you will wear the ball out. I don’t rotate mine to the front because I have another unit up front, a couple of considerations I would offer would be when you loosen the the Ram, it’s gonna loosen the arm from the bottom ball also so you may need to hold the unit up as you turn it, second make sure you have enough of the wires available for your rotation

I use the RAM mount double horizontal swing arm (forget the number at the moment) for my 93. Works from pivot point rather than ball mounts. Takes up some room, but I needed something I could pull closer to me and move away. Eye disease. Very solid as most all RAM's are. An alternative perhaps.

Use the wrench they have available as it really helps and do not forget to hold both ends or cups while turning.
