Default Too much electronics on Jon boat?

I own a 1973 Polar Kraft 14' jon boat that is heavily modified, as far as its original state. I currently have a relatively new Garmin Striker Plus 4 and was knocking around the idea of getting a 10" Solix with mega imaging to put on a new boat in a couple of years. Should a guy wait till he gets the new boat or get it now? would that look out of place on an old jon boat?

If you can afford it, get it. You can always take it off and transfer it to your new boat. jmo

I wouldn’t worry if it looks out of place.
I know lots of people that has more $ worth of electronics than what there boat is worth.
    Including myself at times.
Armyman is right get it and use it, you can always move it.

    I'd go for it....
Heck, I have a Helix 10 set up to be portable on my 12' rowboat!
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

I’m with everyone else. Get it and move it later if needed. I have a Helix 7 on the front and a Helix 10 on the back of my 15’ jon boat.

I have a g3 1648 jon with helix Mega 9 SI on back, on the front, helix Mega 10 DI with a 360 mounted to Rickie’s Da Ducer as well as a Hook 5 for mapping on front. Go for it on electronics.
