Default Bow mounted transducer for panoptix live scope.

Anybody got any pictures of how they mounted their transducer on the bow of the boat without it being on the trolling motor? I like fishing specialties bow mount but first they won't call me back and second they're pretty expensive. Thanks for any ideas.

I use the fishing specialties mount for my transducer and it works great. I would have looked harder at Rickie's model, but it wasn't going to work on my stick steer as well.

I have both an old MG bow mount bracket that I contemplated using with some PVC or what ever to use as a shaft. I also have an old MK transom mount that I removed the motor from that I mulled using instead. Either way it would be a hand operated application. Just have to finally pop for the Livescope.

Something along that line was what I was thinking about, I got an old foot controlled trolling motor I thought about trying to use but I think it will put too much more stuff in my way on the front deck. I taking a look at figuring out how to possibly use a transom mount trolling motor bracket some how now. We'll see.

I must be an idiot I guess because I couldn't find the pictures you referenced. I'm sure I just over looked the link or something.

Thanks Rickie, my boat is a 17.5' Stratos and my deck isn't that big and so far I've got two 4 pole trolling rod holders, trolling motor, cumberland double seat rack, transport rod holders and graph already on the deck, I'm basically out of room and can barely get to the front of the boat to let my trolling motor down. So I need to figure out a way that when it's stowed it's not on my deck. I was thinking maybe figure out how to get it to parallel the side of my boat when stowed. I might can get someone to build me a support that goes over the gunnel and then mount it to it some how. Thanks again.

It may be possible that da'ducer apparatusBow mounted transducer for panoptix live scope. would stow "under" your stowed TM shaft ...

da'ducer apparatusBow mounted transducer for panoptix live scope. 5ft models are only 6.5" tall when stowed ...

And I can even modify that height down to about 4" tall by replacing the 3" base with a 1/4" base without losing any functionality of articulation between stowed and deployed ...
