    Default Garmin livescope

Garmin has a new livescope transducer lvs12 about $500, talked with Brain at bbc and his information is its for their 8600 8400 series didn't have a lot in info but will check into it. Don't think this will help in the price coming down any. On some of the bass sits there is more info. Brain has the best prices i have found, just not there yet.

Save a $1,000.00 Bucks! That's quite a deal and probably worth it but you are giving up almost 50% of viewing area on your screen, granted it's a area that most people probably are not using much but it's still hard to give up screen view.

Only saving money if you already own an 8xxx series. Those 8xxx aren't exactly cheap.

I sold a kidney and bought the Livescope and teamed it with Echomap Plus 93SV. It is worth every penny! I love technology especially when it comes to fishing. I didn not mount it to the trolling motor. I made a Transducer Tiller handle to clamp on to the side of my boat and made the unit to be portable from front to back of boat. Also, I can point it different directions other than trolling motor. I used it tight lining and can adjust all my baits to depths of the fish targets and actually watch the fish interact with bait. This past weekend, I changed to long line trolling and moved the unit to back of boat. I can see the jig pulling depth of my jig being pulled 55 feet behind boat. I watch the fish turn on jig and chase it down and bite bait before my rod moves! It is amazing! I have also watched fish ignore my offering and it will be frustrating but it tells me they don't want that color or need to change presentation. I have been crappie fishing for a long time and fished tournaments. This technology backs up some of my knowledge and proves some of my knowledge dead wrong with pulling depths!

I would love to see a video of it working while trolling that far behind the boat I haven't seen any online yet.

I am not big on videoing but I will try to get footage this weekend! I would have never believed it until I saw it in real life that you can see your jig that far away! I have seen some bass guys videos that can see their crank bait that far.

    Three Questions:

#1 - What screen size is your 93SV just wondering since you are watching jig that far back behind the boat?

#2 - Where does one go to sell a kidneys these days?

#3 - Does it hurt much?

#1- 9 inch screen would have like to got a bigger one big kidney was not in good shape! I can see jig with it set on 20 foot deep and 65 feet back. It gets better if you can shorten it up, bigger screen would be nicer!
    #2- I know a guy that knows a guy!
#3- Not to bad but the livescope was well worth the pain!
