    The di model will get down scan and the si model will get side an
    d down scan is that correct?

    I believe the SI model will do both side and down. The DI model will just do down.

    All HELIX 7 SI models (except the new HELIX 7 MEGA) use blended data from the SI piezoes to "computer generate" the DI image ...

    All HELIX 7 DI models have a dedicated DI piezo ...
