Default New Ulterra with down imaging transducer

So I bit the bullet and ordered myself a new trolling motor. It's the 60 inch shaft Ulterra with the built in down imaging transducer. I hope that by now Minnkota has worked out all the kinks with the Ulterra, I've been wanting the remote stow and deploy functionality for quite a while, but couldn't convince myself to drop the cash on it.

Is anyone on this forum using this trolling motor now? Have you had any issues with it that I should be aware of?

I ordered two quick release mounts so that I can swap it between my Pontoon and 16ft Lund Rebel. Can't wait to get it out on the water this spring. Now I just have to wait for someone to carry the GEN3 Helix 9's.

I've had an Ulterra since they first came out. Never had any issues with mine. Sure wish I'd had the option of downscan transducer at the time. My only issue, with it being the first generation Ulterrra, my spotlock doesn't work as good as advertised. With the new motors, I hear they've got a better spot lock.

Hope so, I am upgrading from an Xi5, which has had a great spot lock.
