    Default Second Helix on Dash

My question is, how do I hook a second Humminbird Helix to my existing unit on my dash just so I can use it for reading my map and waypoints. I do not need it for any other reason other than map reading and waypoint locations.
My main dash unit is a Helix mega 12 SI.

Thank you Crappie Fisherman in advance,
    Steveo

just an ethernet cable along with 2 ethernet adapters. Will not be able to share maps though, each unit will need a map card

BeerRun, thanks for the reply, the dash unit is hooked to the front unit now, If i remember correctly the dash unit has a adapter cable already there with one open female end I think, so all i would need is another short cable to hook both dash units together right?

The helix units only have 1 ethernet port. So each unit would need an ethernet adapter

If you want to network all three units you would need the 5 port switch and a ethernet cable to each unit along with the ethernet adapter.

to answer your second question, yes you would need a shorter ethernet cable along with another adapter cable for the second unit
